Report Standards for Monitoring Projects

• If sites are identified or revisited during a monitoring project, please follow the guidelines for a Phase I survey report.

• If no sites are identified or revisited during a monitoring project, please follow the guidelines for a Negative Findings report.  If a project area is being monitored to ensure known sites are not impacted and there is no impact, please use the Negative Findings report format.  If sites are inadvertently impacted, further archaeological work to address the impact will be necessary and that work should be addressed in the appropriate Phase I or Phase II report format.
